Submitting A Job Through Web Print

A guide to submitting print jobs through PaperCut Web Print. This option does not require users to install anything on their device but is limited to personal, unmanaged computers.

INFO: Please note that you must be on campus or on the General Access VPN to use this service.

Instructions

  1. Log into https://print.maine.edu with your UMS username and password.
  2. From the sidebar, click on "Web Print".
  3. Click Submit a Job.
  4. Select your job details, copy count, account to charge to, and click upload documents.
    1. Selecting Personal will charge this against your UMS Card card balance.
    2. Shared account charges to a specific departmental account for faculty and staff.
  5. Drag your document or click select from computer.
    1. Multiple files can be added and will be queued as separate jobs.
  6. Submit your job.
  7. Visit a Xerox device and swipe your card to select your job to print.  (What is Find-Me Printing?)
    1. Changes such as increasing copy count and account selection can be made at the copier before printing.

Supported File Types

The following file types are allowed:

Microsoft Excel xlam, xls, xlsb, xlsm, xlsx, xltm, xltx

Microsoft PowerPoint pot, potm, potx, ppam, pps, ppsm, ppsx, ppt, pptm, pptx

Microsoft Word doc, docm, docx, dot, dotm, dotx, rtf, txt

PDF pdf

Picture Files bmp, dib, gif, jfif, jif, jpe, jpeg, jpg, png, tif, tiff

XPS xps
