Description
Duo Security multi-factor authentication (MFA) adds a second verification step when you sign in, so your account stays protected even if someone learns your password. Duo is one of two MFA systems used at UMS, alongside Microsoft Entra MFA, and remains in place for the services that have not yet moved to Entra.

Required Information
To register for or manage Duo MFA, you will need:
- Your UMS username and password
- A device to use for verification, such as a smartphone with the Duo Mobile app
